The 'latest' 'average' on the wind direction gauge are an oversight - thanks.

The rest of the missing translations are because you have used the English template file - you need to use the French version "gauges-ssT-fr.htm"

I will look at producing a single template some time!

I've just tried upgrading to the latest version (did a test page first, before overwriting anything)
And i get the 'text file download corrupted' message. The filepaths are the same as the other page, so i'm not sure what's wrong?

Regards.

I've found something:
in gauge.js line 187 should be g_dir.titles = [LANG.latest_web, LANG.tenminavg_web]; and not g_dir.titles = [LANG_EN.latest_web, LANG_EN.tenminavg_web];

Yep, that is the fix. I have another release ready that will incorporate this along with a couple of others. Probably in the morning as the fixes are on my laptop and I can't be bothered getting it fired up this evening.

I can see the gauges but there is no updating...

Could you try something: Try removing the '/' (slash) in front of the file name 'realtimegauges.txt' in the 'gauges.js' script - I just added a slash in front of the file name 'realtimegauges.txt' on my system and the SteelSeries stopped being updated...

It might also be a good idea to update your Cumulus to the latest version - build 1027.

Simple fix, in converting the template page you have dropped the Cumulus version/build spans. The script is erroring when it fails to find them. I'll put some error checking in the code as a few people have fallen foul of this.

Code: Select all

Opps! Hold fire on version 1.4.2 - I have discovered a bug in the SteelSeries library, it has been there for a while but needs fixing.

Records fixed. I had months of dodgy pressure readings due to the batteries in the sensor being flat :oops:

Linear gauges next :roll:

Version 1.4.2a now uploaded, it turns out that the way the Cumulus script uses the gauges it would have been extremely unlikely to hit the bug anyway - only if your update time was less than 3 seconds.

Edit: I still have the metar wind calculation wrong :roll: Definitely fixed in the next release - promise - the fixed version is running on my web site now to make sure :lol:

Your low record still looks way too low to me - 862.0 hPa? Are you sure that shouldn't be 962?

Hi all
I'm using SteelSeries gauges v 1.4.1 and Cumulus v 1.9.2

On my web page (http://meteobellaria.altervista.org/cumulus/gauges.htm) the gauge "temp." and the gauge "press." doesn't display the UP and DOWN trend, the trend displayed in temp. and pressure is always on "steady"

in gauges.js file

Code: Select all

var g_tempTrendVisible = true;
var g_pressureTrendVisible = true;

in realtimegauges.txt file

Code: Select all

......"temptrend":"-0,1"......"presstrendval":"+0,6".............
both the gauges are now on "steady"

Could someone help me?

Thank you very much
