Hi,

I want to edit my gauges webpage. How can I edit to show only Dew Point, Wind Chill and Humidex?.

Have I to delete this from gauges-ssT.html?

<div id="dew">
<canvas id="canvas_dew" width="251" height="251" rel="imgtip[1]"></canvas>
<br />
<input id="rad_dew1" type="radio" name="rad_dew" value="dew" onclick="doDew(this)" />
<label id="lab_dew1" for="rad_dew1">Punt Rosada</label>
<input id="rad_dew2" type="radio" name="rad_dew" value="app" checked onclick="doDew(this)" />
<label id="lab_dew2" for="rad_dew2">Apparent</label>

<input id="rad_dew3" type="radio" name="rad_dew" value="wnd" onclick="doDew(this)" />
<label id="lab_dew3" for="rad_dew3">T Sensaci (hivern)</label>
<br />
<input id="rad_dew4" type="radio" name="rad_dew" value="hea" onclick="doDew(this)" />
<label id="lab_dew4" for="rad_dew4">Heat Index</label>

<input id="rad_dew5" type="radio" name="rad_dew" value="hum" onclick="doDew(this)" />
<label id="lab_dew5" for="rad_dew5">T Xafogor (estiu)</label>
</div>

Have I do anything more?

Thanks,

Lluís

Mark, just curious, why was the 'LinearBargraph' (and 'Linear') removed from the latest 'steelseries.js' script - if it has not been removed, what is replacing it?

Oops... :oops:

Just downloaded the GitHub version of 'steelseries.js' and found the 'LinearBargraph' (the 'Linear' and the 'Clock')... :D

Now I understand - the version available (released) on GitHub is somewhat a tiny bit larger... :mrgreen: ...than the version releases in the forum - about 2.5 times larger (ie 264Kb vs 628Kb).

Correct, the minimised version of the full library is a similar size to the uncompressed 'Cumulus' version which then compresses down to less than 90KB.

Mark,
Your w3c fixes work a treat, although their 'experimental' validator seems to think there's a 'warning', but can't show what it actually is, but that's an issue for w3c to sort.

Here's my implementation into Jacques' 'Sunny' template: http://weather.gktnet.com/newpages/gauges.php

Happy new year to all
Cheers,
Graeme.

That looks fantastic!
I'm only just starting to learn how to use all of this stuff. I have the steelgauges running, but i presume you edited the css file to make them smaller?

Great works.

The warning is that the validator is 'experimental' :lol:

Nice, could I suggest that you 'fix' the size of gauge area so that it loads at the correct size, rather than being large during the page load, then resizing to the desired size when the script runs?

Thanks Mark, I hadn't noticed that.

A bit like the w3c validator - 'experimantal' :lol:
Cheers,
Graeme.

I was toying with adding an optional trend indicator to the gauges - most useful on the barometer. A test rendering of the code is below, what do you think, worthwhile?
Ideally I'd like to make the indicator a bit more 3d but there aren't many pixels to work with at smaller gauge sizes.

Mark, might also add to the temperature gauge as temperature is the other data with a trend value... ;)

Yes, I'm adding a fourth state to the indicator - inactive - so it can remain on the temp gauge if it is switched to ranges that do not have a trend, better than it appearing/disappearing I think.

I think I have sufficiently 3D like to be visually appealing now.
