Rainfall Data Problems v1.92 1003

Post by gburnett »

My PC (win7) runs all day but I switch it off overnight. When I start it it the morning, the hourly rainfall and total rainfall are incorrect. Looks like it adds on the total for the year so far, very confusing. I am using a Davis Pro2 Plus. Any clues anyone?

Thanks - I can see that there was a problem with the daily total yesterday, but unfortunately this was just a follow-on from something that happened previously, and the number of restarts you did yesterday means that the diags files don't go back far enough to see what happened. I note that you seem to have had the problem with dayfile.txt caused by build 1000 (which you have corrected) and this may have contributed to the rainfall problem.

It looks like it is OK today, and hopefully it should stay that way. But if/when it does start going wrong again, please zip up the diags folder as soon as it does and attach it again - and also your dayfile.txt and July log file, please.

Thanks for looking at that Steve. I have decided to delete all the cumulus data and start with a clean slate using v1.92 1003. I'll let you know how I get on.
