scaling for

Running 1.9.2 build 1003. There doesn't seem to be any scaling for solar radiation and my readings are about 30% too high. Is there anything I can do about this? Will it be addressed at a future build perhaps?

Cumulus attempts to convert the Lux reading from the station by assuming a conversion factor of 0.0079 Lux = 1 W/m2 (a value I found on a few sites on the web). You can adjust this value by editing cumulus.ini (with Cumulus stopped), and adding a line to the [Solar] section, thus:

LuxToWM2=0.0079

but using your preferred value instead of the default.

What type of station have you got? Your profile says N96FY and your web site says "W-8681 Solar". I thought only the WH3080 and WH3081 had the solar sensor? Other models can have the ST1 solar power unit, but as far as I'm aware they don't have a sensor.

Sorry about confusion over model no, I did my profile at a time when I'd intended buying the Maplin unit but then discovered the W-8681 Solar (yes, that's the number on the box!) from Waters & Stanton. Better spec, lower price. I've updated my profile now.

Had a look in the ini file and there are 3 items in the [solar] section at the end, but the LuxtoWhr isn't one of them so I'm a bit of a loss as to what to do next. Any advice?

Yes - add the line (but make sure you put "LuxToWM2").
