Cumulus Support

I've reconnected my WMR200 and hit the problem. I seem to be able to make it more likely to happen if I switch away from Cumulus while it's downloading and do some web browsing or whatever, so I think it might be a timing issue. Anyway, I think I know what's going on now and I might be able to fix it.

But did you find out what the ‘Garbage’ was??

It's not really garbage. The station is tacking on the start of a 'live' data packet to the end of a 'history' packet and I wasn't allowing for that.

I've put my fix in, and it collected the remaining data from the logger, but I know from the debug log that the fix wasn't actually triggered, so don't know for certain yet that it works. I guess we'll just have to see what happens.

My money is all gone so I can’t go on vacation again...
But Cumulus not starting for a couple of days will also do the trick, I hope.

I had nine days of data. It stopped after collecting two days, then I put in my fix, then it collected the remaining seven days without needing the fix

That looks very promising; I’ll wait for the next build.
