Cumulus Topsites

Post by geoffp »

I have started a topsite board "Cumulus Topsites" it would be nice if Cumulus users would join it, I must point out that Cumulus Topsites are in no way connected to Sandysoft I am running it as a hobby.

Thanks to Admin for letting me plug it here, the site is at:-

Might want to change graphic that used to link back maybe a sun image just to make it more weather looking :)

I used this software before and was a right pain for spammers, so keep an eye on it.

One little point... your signature links to the "forum-signatures.com" web site rather that your weather site as would be expected.
Gina

Sorry, no banner - weather station out of action. Hoping to be up and running with a new home-made one soon.

Hi Gina,

That sig. banner is not a correct type I know, I am afraid that I don't know how to install the software to make a proper signature banner like everyone else has, will take this one down as very confusing.

Hi Areco747

For some reason the topsite list has been invaded with spammers and has done a lot of damage please see if you can rejoin and I will activate your account straight away

Hey Lyle! I'm 16th and your 15th. Game on!!!:o It's based off the Page Views. The total of page views over the months divided by 10. Maybe 10 is the minimum amount of months for the average to be calculated by, then after that I assume it would be total PV's divided by months or total PV's in the last 10 months divided by 10 months. So we really won't hit our stride until we get 10 months worth of Page Views. The rating system is a guide to show assumed quality of the website, and voted apon. I have 0 votes! Bahahaha.

Hi Guys

With this topsite software there are three categories for deciding the rankings:-

Pageviews

In

Out

At the moment it is on Pageviews, What is the normal ranking method, I can soon change over if everyone is ok with it

Geoff

So the page views are only calculated if you have the cumulus top site click and vote icon on ur page right? It's got nothing to do with the gate way vote button and the rankings? That's what my original question was getting at. Cheers..
