Navigation Bar with dropdowns and Javascript

Post by pacificblue03 »

im working on a Navigation bar with a dropdown under say GRAPHS to do this

Drop down the available graphs eg Wind, Temp ETC

What javascript would i need so that when you

hover over Graphs > Wind / Temp / Rain will pop up >>> onclick open in popup window or a popup of some kind

heres a test page http://www.westmeadnswweather.com/indexT2.htm

Heres my code so far

<ul id="nav">
<li class="top"><a href="index.htm" class="top_link"><span>Home</span></a></li>
<li class="top"><a href="trends.htm" id="products" class="top_link"><span class="down">Graphs</span></a>
<ul class="sub">

<li> <a href="images/wind.png">Wind Last 24 Hours</a></li>
</ul>
</li>

A check of the source code for the page shows they are using ThickBox but the site says its no longer supported. http://jquery.com/demo/thickbox/
On my home page, I am using thumbnailviewer.js to display my graphs in a pop up when you click on the relevant text link. Available here: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/thumbnail.htm
Follow the directions. Very easy to install.
