Steve
I have been getting a friends WMR100 working with the beta (the latest version has fixed the indoor temp/humidity spikes - he has an additional temperature sensor), I wondered, does the OS protocol send the external sensor status (connected/lost) for the multiple sensors? and if so are you planning on implementing it?
Cheers

Re: WMR sensor status
Yes, both the 100 and 200 have various status bits that get sent for battery condition, etc, but it's not obvious whether the 100 sends anything other than battery condition. The 200 definitely has some 'sensor fault' flags.
When I work out what to do with them, I do intend to put something in for them.

Re: WMR sensor status
It would be great to have support for extra sensors (I have 3 extra sensors).
And also a screen for the battery conditions would be great.
So far Cumulus is working perfect and without any problems with my WMR200.
As far I can tell, downloading the data takes about the same amount of time as VWS and WD.

Re: WMR sensor status
It's fairly easy to extract the extra sensor data, I do that already for the WMR928 - but it only displays it at the moment, no logging or other processing. The problem I have is that the solar 'panel' on the main screen is where I put the WMR928 extra sensor data (it rotates between the sensors). So I'd have nowhere to put UV. I'll have to think about it. I suppose it could also rotate between the extra sensors and UV value.Tonky wrote:It would be great to have support for extra sensors (I have 3 extra sensors).
Yes, again, for the WMR928 there are battery condition displays in the 'status' box. The difference with the WMR200 is that it only seems to give a good/bad indication, but there's no reason why the existing display shouldn't cater for that too (they're basically progress bars). And also a screen for the battery conditions would be great.

Re: WMR sensor status
I don’t know if it is possible but more or less the same as the solar would be an option:
Sensor 1,2,3
And then as an option:
One : only the Solar on the display.
Two: only the extra sensors.
Three: a rotation between the two.

Yes, that's what it does; it uses the solar display and re-labels the boxes:Tonky wrote:I don’t know if it is possible but more or less the same as the solar would be an option:
Then it changes that 'extra' heading as it displays each channel. So it could also include the solar data in the rotation (optionally, as you suggest).

Re: WMR sensor status
With your example it shows one sensor at the time.
What I meant was that it shows al 3 sensors in one screen.
Temp and Hum would be sufficient. (for me)
