However, a google search also threw up something of interest I never considered before: cumulus might be pascal based. Or at least compilable with freepascal. I do freepascal - and not only that. Any guesses so far as to what comes next?
For those that like the enigma - I also look into the arduino and hardware interface side of software. For those still in the dark, I signed up to say that: I want to run cumulus on ubuntu - apparently you do too - and that it might be in my best programming language. AKA - if its pascal, and the source (at least the parts that relate to getting data to/from the stations) is available, you might just have a new implementation to get your WH1081s rolling with cumulus on linux... I have plenty of time, and I do open source (free) so point me at some source, and I'll take a look at it and might just get something out there. No guarantees of course, but there is always that chance.
