Dewpoint question

Post by bnwrx »

Our humidity levels now are very low, less than 10%. My FineOffset only measure down to 10%, so I am using Cumulus to estimate the dewpoint and have configured it to do so. But it is showing an abnormally high number:

Am I doing anything wrong in my settings? Others in my area have dewpoints in the single digits....

As a followup....
Cumulus now shows a dewpoint of 9.1. Could it be that Cumulus takes some time to accumulate data before calculating the dewpoint?

It was probably getting some strange humidity readings from the station so was unable to calculate the dew point at that time. It would leave the humidity displayed at the last good value. Perhaps it should use that value instead for the dew point calculation; but there may have been a good reason why I decided not to do that.
