My weather records are wrong although the graphs read ok.
I tried removing the data for the whole day in question but that didn't help. I'm fiarly confident thatit didn't reach -20 c the other day.
Can anyone supply any suggestions to bring this back to the correct records?

Re: Records are wrong
The all-time records are held in a separate file called alltime.ini; you can either edit this file in a text editor (with Cumulus stopped) or use the built-in editor. That looks like quite an old version of Cumulus; you may or may not have a file called alltimelog.txt which keeps track of changes to the all time records to make it easier to reinstate old records.
From version 1.9.1, the record editor also has the ability to trawl through your data logs and offer you the highs and lows that it finds there; but of course it will also pick up any erroneous readings that might have been logged.
You also have problems with your rainfall figures - not uncommon with Fine Offset stations, as you probably know. Later versions of Cumulus are also a bit better at filtering out some types of erroneous rain readings before they are logged. 1.9.1 also has 'spike removal' which you could use to attempt to stop the temperature problem occurring again.

Re: Records are wrong
Thanks for your reply. I tried editing the text file as you suggested but the errors were still there.
I had resisted getting the new version as I thought it might not carry across my old data, but decided to download it today. I have installed it into the old directory (d:/cumulus) and although all the info appears to be there from the previous version, for some reason cumulus has begun again starting from today.
Is there any way to get it to read the old info?
Thanks
Mark

Re: Records are wrong
It would normally read the old data without any problems; the fact that it didn't, and that you say you edited alltime.ini without any effect suggests that the data is perhaps not where you think it is, and you have some sort of Windows 7 issue, despite installing outside Program Files. It's not possible to edit the correct alltime.ini file without affecting what Cumulus displays (assuming you do it with Cumulus stopped); the data isn't held anywhere else. If you zip up the diags folder and attach it, I'll have a look.

Re: Records are wrong
I'm a bit confused - you say you've installed the latest version (1.9.1) into d:\cumulus, but according to the files you've uploaded, you're still using 1.9.0? If you have indeed installed 1.9.1, I think you must have installed it elsewhere, which is why when you run it, it doesn't find your old data.

Thanks Steve
I installed it again and now it seems to be working just fine. I don't think I did anything different but I guess I must have.
Great product support, and well worth the money I donated a while back
