Steve,

bigmac is on the right track. If you open Highs and Lows and close that window with part of the station name obscured, the obscured part is not refreshed. If you then open Highs and lows, then move the dialog box off of the station name the station name refreshes. This is in 995, 993 does not seem to be afflicted with the same ailment.

Another possible clue, if I remotely connect to my weather PC by Teamviewer, the station name does not appear. Refreshing the station name as above will remain until I close a dialog box over it, but if I terminate a remote session with it displayed and then reconnect the remote session, the name is gone again.

Have confirmed this behaviour both on a local session and remote session.

I can't reproduce the problem, and I've tried on three different flavours of Windows - including the XP SP3 that you're using. The component I'm using for that label did change recently, but at build 992. There's no real reason for me to be using that component there instead of a standard label, so I'll change it.

Hi Steve,

Haven't seen any repetition of the corruption of the station name since updating to build 996. Looks like it may have cured it.
Also, everything else seems to be working great. Although I haven't analysed any data in great detail, I don't see any glaring issues.
So, many many thanks for having the dedication to develop Cumulus for us OS WMR users. Donation will be on its way at next pay day  :D
