leave off wind and rain sensors?

Post by muppet77 »

I have ordered a 1080 and am considering just setting up the temperature, humidity and pressure sensors and leaving out rainfall, wind speed and direction.

this is due to the sheltered nature of my back garden and the readings meaning little to me.

any comments on this?

I do understand its a waste and I can never rewind the clock for data collection, but the readings would be of very little value.

any help?

Hi
I think that adding the rain sensor would have some value and it could be situated some distance from the transmitter - maybe on a roof or at least where there is some sky view.
