Update on Future Webtags & Additions :)

Post by 6719jason »

Hi Steve,

Just wanted to let you know that the current Beta Version is working well on my site and I'm enjoying the new features.

I wondered if there was any news on the following additions to Cumulus:

Calculated Wet Bulb Temperature
Humidity Trend
9am Day Forecast
Visability Estimated based on Weather Data
Current Conditions based on current weather data - a text output so.... Its Dry / Clear, Daytime/Nightime, Its Raining, etc etc....
Ground State - If possible for Met Office and Current Conditions
Webtags for the above if possible?

Sorry to throw all the above at you Steve, I know you are busy.

Fantastic work by you Steve :)

I don't even remember saying I was going to add those; but my memory isn't brilliant. That's why the 'enhancement request' section exists; so things can't get forgotten.

But anyway, at the moment I'm adding support for the WMR200 and WMR100 stations. That will take quite some time to finish, and after that I might start looking at doing some of the requested enhancements. If the ones you've listed are in there, there's a possibility I'll do them.

Sorry if this comes across as unhelpful, but as I've said on numerous occasions, I find requests for progress reports really annoying.
