Your cloud image, and I guess other forecast images, have a lot of blank space around them (see below), which means it will be difficult to fix their position. Far better to crop them all to avoid blank space (but ensure they are all the same height/width). You can then be more confident on how to position the image
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

One way to display remote pages is use iframes, resulting in the whole remote page being displayed within your page:

Code: Select all

<tr>
   <td>
     <iframe src="http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDR714.loop.shtml" height="697" width="100%" frameborder="0">
     <p>Your browser cannot display iframes - please use the following link: <a href="http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDR714.loop.shtml" target="_blank"></a></p>
     </iframe>
   </td>
</tr>
Here's an example: http://weather.gktnet.com/indexes.php?u ... graphs.php
Cheers,
Graeme.

hey guys i was wondering something today

on this page here ___http://www.weatherzone.com.au/station.jsp?lt=s ... 94&list=ob___

you see on the second one the wind speed,gust and direction is all in one graph with a hover box of those conditions what i was wondering is what kind of javascript/ other scripts is needed to create some thing Similar to that except using the graph already provided with cumulus but just adding a hover box saying the obs of that time and on the top part a directional arrow of the wind also

is this even possible?

A good place to start is their own website to understand the requirements

http://jpgraph.net/

You could also search these forums for 'jpgraphs'

Google charts are work a look too http://code.google.com/apis/chart/inter ... index.html

Whatever graphs solution you go for, you need to store data on your webspace (so for example, your dayfile.txt or your monthly log files). These may need to be stored as a database, or as a simple text file.

Lots of reading ahead

with code
___________________________________________________________________________________
var chart;
$(document).ready(function() {
chart = new Highcharts.Chart({
chart: {
renderTo: 'container',
defaultSeriesType: 'line',
marginRight: 130,
marginBottom: 25
},
title: {
text: 'Monthly Average Temperature',
x: -20 //center
},
subtitle: {
text: 'Source: WorldClimate.com',
x: -20
},
xAxis: {
categories: ['Jan', 'Feb', 'Mar', 'Apr', 'May', 'Jun',
'Jul', 'Aug', 'Sep', 'Oct', 'Nov', 'Dec']
},
yAxis: {
title: {
text: 'Temperature (°C)'
},
plotLines: [{
value: 0,
width: 1,
color: '#808080'
}]
},
tooltip: {
formatter: function() {
return '<b>'+ this.series.name +'</b><br/>'+
this.x +': '+ this.y +'°C';
}
},
legend: {
layout: 'vertical',
align: 'right',
verticalAlign: 'top',
x: -10,
y: 100,
borderWidth: 0
},
series: [{
name: 'Tokyo',
data: [7.0, 6.9, 9.5, 14.5, 18.2, 21.5, 25.2, 26.5, 23.3, 18.3, 13.9, 9.6]
}, {
name: 'New York',
data: [-0.2, 0.8, 5.7, 11.3, 17.0, 22.0, 24.8, 24.1, 20.1, 14.1, 8.6, 2.5]
}, {
name: 'Berlin',
data: [-0.9, 0.6, 3.5, 8.4, 13.5, 17.0, 18.6, 17.9, 14.3, 9.0, 3.9, 1.0]
}, {
name: 'London',
data: [3.9, 4.2, 5.7, 8.5, 11.9, 15.2, 17.0, 16.6, 14.2, 10.3, 6.6, 4.8]

The key section is this...
series: [{
name: 'Tokyo',
data: [7.0, 6.9, 9.5, 14.5, 18.2, 21.5, 25.2, 26.5, 23.3, 18.3, 13.9, 9.6]
}, {
name: 'New York',
data: [-0.2, 0.8, 5.7, 11.3, 17.0, 22.0, 24.8, 24.1, 20.1, 14.1, 8.6, 2.5]
}, {
name: 'Berlin',
data: [-0.9, 0.6, 3.5, 8.4, 13.5, 17.0, 18.6, 17.9, 14.3, 9.0, 3.9, 1.0]
}, {
name: 'London',
data: [3.9, 4.2, 5.7, 8.5, 11.9, 15.2, 17.0, 16.6, 14.2, 10.3, 6.6, 4.8]
}]
});
As I said earlier, you will need to find a way to store your Cumulus data on the webserver and then write the necessary code to take that data and place it in this script

Do you have PHP skills? This is the best way to do the coding.

I played around with HighCharts some time ago...

http://grantownweather.co.uk/graphtest/temperature.html

I upload the Cumulus data into an SQL database on the webserver, then use PHP to build the data for javascript
