Weatherbug?

I've added the station info for Weaterbug, but it doesn't seems to be uploading any data. Has anyone else tried it yet? My assumption is that Weatherbug Publisher shouldn't be running when Cumulus is running.

I'm afraid I know very little about Weatherbug, I just added support because a number of people asked for it; I find their site even harder to navigate than Weather Underground. I did manage to find my data being uploaded somewhere, so it appeared to be working. I couldn't seem to get any more than a very brief summary out of it; I wondered if they were expecting me to pay to see my own data. I tried the advert-laden desktop application for about two minutes before I got sick of the adverts.
Here's all the data from my station that I could find:

weatherbug was such an evil software, I never want to support a company that used malware. They say they are straight but with their beginning it makes you wonder.

Indeed, and I resisted adding support for a long time. I'm still not sure about them.

Strange, my readings show up like yours do
http://weather.weatherbug.com/IL/Barrin ... tat=p10781,
but my station never comes up when running the Weatherbug software and I browse all the backyard stations in my area. I had forgotten about what a strange and frustrating experience weatherbug was when I last dabbled with it 6 years ago.

They sent me a large chunk of C++ code to add to Cumulus

without really explaining what it was for. I won't be adding it, because Cumulus isn't written in C++, and also, the code writes to the registry, and I've avoided doing that in Cumulus so far.
I can't really be bothered to work out what the code does, but it's possible that it's something to do with getting your station to display in their software, but as far as I'm concerned, that's their responsibility, not mine.

I'm sure that it's to do with getting a UK station to display in their software, for mine won't show meaningful data.

After a lot of searching, I now have this--which is pretty good.
Updates automatically, too.

It's a bit basic, though, isn't it? What does it really give you? As I've just said to you in email, where are the graphs or historic tabular data, like in WU? After all the requests I've had from people to add WB support, I really thought it was going to be more than this. Perhaps if you use their desktop software with the adverts, or buy the non-advert version, you get a bit more?

No, I don't think so. I have talked to them and this is it--all that we can get in the UK, for now.
The desktop software with the flashing ads is awful and does not update.
When I said "pretty good", I was comparing this site to the very poor data example that you posted, previously.
I still like PWS; everything is on one page, including graphs and history--easier to navigate than WU, for example. All that I think it needs is auto update
