That looks like an incompatibility with their code and your browser - you're not getting the bottom of the panel. It works OK for me in both FF4 and IE9.

I tried changing the update time from 15 to 10 mins. WOW didn't accept the change. Once I reverted to 15 mins the problem disappeared.

Not sure why they would not accept a different interval. Just a warning in case you were tempted.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

I don't understand what you're saying; the upload interval is in Cumulus, it's nothing to do with WOW. I changed mine to 10 minutes. It's possible that it needs a restart of Cumulus, but I think it should take effect immediately (or after the next update, at least).

Ive just had a look at the WOW site in edit mode
when I got home on my home pc with FireFox 4.0.1
and I now have the save button.

I guess it is a problem with the browser on my work pc.

Well at least I can save it all correctly now.

I didn't restart Cumulus Steve. Perhaps that's why. I'll do it again and restart this time and see what happens. If it works for you then it should for me. I thought there might have been some restriction at the WOW end.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

I changed my interval to 5 minutes, and it took the change without a restart. Note that the timer is reset if you change the interval, so if you change it to N minutes, the next update is N minutes from when you changed it, not N minutes from the last update. I changed mine to 5 minutes at 18:51, so the next update was at 18:56.

I changed to 10 min intervals and WOW has accepted it. However, I had to close and reload the page to see the changes. A manual refresh didn't work.

Point taken about when the next update will occur. I'll probably change to 5-min updates like you. It might as well be as up to date as possible.

Thanks.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

I set up my WOW account yesterday and set Cumulus to update every 15 mins. All went well with no issues whatsoever so I was feeling quite pleased. This morning I restarted my PC, Cumulus fired up and went in to "Catch Up" mode. All fine and no errors in the debug logfile.

When I logged in to WOW to check, all the data was there from the overnight data that Cumulus had just sent. However, on the Latest Observation Page, there are no graphs at all for "Graph of Temperature, Dew Point and Rainfall over the last 24hr", which were certainly visible yesterday before I shut my PC down for the night. Strangely, I can go to the Graph View tab in WOW and plot any particular trend that I choose, but it just will not show the composite chart on the Latest Observation Page.

I have deleted all cookies and tried Firefox , Safari and Chrome but they all produce the same effect. Is there any way that the "Catch Up" may have induced some sort of subtle data corruption? Will a re-import of the Cumulus data overwrite what is already there or create new records - and is this worth trying?

My site is at http://wow.metoffice.gov.uk/latestobser ... eID=460737

Perhaps someone could just try clicking on the link to see what they get?

Cheers,

Stuart

I don't have those either at the moment, and I haven't used 'catch up'. I guess it's simply broken.

Whole site just went off-line just now. It appears from a quick ( ) trawl of sites just prior to that, that some show the graphs and some don't!

On the face of it, it does appear to be Cumulus sites that are affected.

My graphs have been displaying from Day 1--no issues at all, so far.

Yours is also broken for me. I wonder if it's another browser issue. They had been working OK, though.

Edit: But now working again. It's clearly something to do with how flaky the WOW site is at the moment.

Just a thought...could the failure to display graphs have anything to do with 'upload intervals?
The WOW settings, in set up, were every 15 mins and I haven't tried to change that.

Looks like WOW will be in Beta for quite a while.
