The links are at the very top of the WOW home page. But it's possible you don't see them; some parts of the site don't seem to work in all browsers.

I did wonder about that, but a few non-UK sites have already registered.

Odd isn't it.

One might think it was out of scope based upon their brief "The Met Office is helping to co-ordinate the growth of the weather observing community in the UK, by asking anyone to submit the observations they are taking. "

Hello
Yes. I've been thru all the rigmarole of registering - you can do a manual "filling in " of data but I did get a reply from the Wow people who said that the facility to upload automatically would be seen in a few weeks time . .
So we wait n see!

Back from London!!

Anyway, after the station went down this week, and not being able to sort it, got that sorted, now I want to sort this WOW out,

I am TOTALLY lost with it, seen the login details in Cumulus, nice and easy, the site however is a different matter, i am on the "create a site page"

First of all is the 6 digit pin, where do i get that from?

then the location attributes!! how do i sort those?

then the site data preferences, presumably this is what the station CAN read, and what unit its read at yeah?

one final quick question, and I am sorry for all these, weatherbug, where on earth do i sign up to transmit my weather data?

Hi Rob
The 6 digit pin is the one you made up when you registered, hope you wrote it down!

For location you need latitude and longitude in decimal format.

You need to assess your location attributes using the info on this page:
http://wow.metoffice.gov.uk/support?cat ... Attributes

Weatherbug? From other comments on this forum I think I will give that site a miss.

Also I have found that Firefox is slightly better on this site as when the page is refreshing it does not go blank.
Have fun
Mark

WeatherBug? From talking to them, they say "WB6" software is not "available internationally".

The link, below, is the best data display that I can get--the ads are a pain.
