What is you skill set? I assume you have HTML & PHP knowledge?

Designing a website specifically for the iphone is not complicated as the browser is very good -- you have a few extra useful controls which allow you to determine the orientation the user is viewing the page and this can be handy to determine the layout

because my biggest problem and not have knowledge in html or php.
so I've been here to ask.

This is not really the forum to learn HTML or PHP. I would really suggest you buy a book, or read some more appropriate websites, to help you understand HTML/PHP. We can then help put the weather data into your site.

There are lots of us on here happy to help but you do need a basic understanding of websites if you want to start developing your own sites

Would be interesting if you can do this, and then release the code to others to tailor to their own sites, good luck to you!

The 'Bashewa Phone' PHP script has been available for some time - the last update (version 1.12) was released in October 2008 (unfortunately, I could not find the download link on Rainer's site).

A newer version of the script, now called 'MOBILE Dashboard' was released about a month ago and is available from the Webster Weather Live page.

The negative aspect of the script is that it is/was designed to use the data files created by Weather Display - the script has not yet been adapted (converted) to use the data files created by Cumulus.

My iPod is 4th gen, so has 640x960 resolution, same as the iPhone.

Yes i know. But if i put the resulition 640*960 do not get the font so large that the resolution to give 320

I think with the resoloution, you need to look forward rather than current or previous, look what native resoloutions are going to become rather than what they are now, I am an Iphone user, so have a larger resoloution. I guess it's down to what you want to view it on at the end of the day
