Graphs not working?

Hi..
I never got the Wind Speed; Outside Temperature; Rainfall Rate; Wind Direction; Humidity graphs working. Also Select-a-graph doesnt show anything
I do not have currently Cumulus working 24h, only 20hours dont know if this is the cause of lack of some graphs.
Thanks.
Using 1.9.1 - 384
Windows 7 64bits
Easyweather.dat

You're using a very old beta version. The first thing you need to do is install the current version. But if you're using the 'easyweather.dat' method you really have to run Cumulus 24 hours a day or you will get gaps in your data and all kinds of other problems with daily totals etc. It's a very limited interface.
Edit: I searched your posts to see why you're using easyweather.dat - you seemed to assume I would remember! Another problem may be because you're not supplying all of the data (e.g. pressure). It makes various assumptions about when it can start plotting graphs and logging data etc, and your setup probably doesn't fit the assumptions.

Thanks for the answer Steve.
I´m using latest beta version, 191 - 989 (not 389, sorry)..
The barometer (BMP085) will be added next week to the Arduino, the easyweather.dat accept two decimal values in the pressure (1012.21)?
Once i get the barometer and setup my server, i will check again for the graphs.
I know the easyweather.dat is a bad way..i tried to send serial messages according to WMR-918 protocol (
followed this site), but didint get any response from Cumulus. Since i dont know how Cumulus work the protocol (also i dont have a 918) is hard to get the protocol done..so i will use easyweather.dat.

No, you're not; there is no beta version currently

. I should lock this part of the forum, really.

It will accept any number of decimal places, but it will only display 1 for mb/hPa (2 for inHg).

What station type did you select? That's the protocol for wireless stations, so you would need to choose WMR928. But you would still need to be running 24/7.

Sorry, its really the stable version

Looking now, i created the topic in the wrong place.
About the Oregon protocol, its a bit confusing..just a quick questions to understand.
-
http://www.hetweer.nu/design/wmr_interface.html , give the protocol in hex
-
http://www.netsky.org/WMR/Protocol.htm , give the protocol in binary
So Cumulus will receive in binary or hexadecimal from WMR928?
Cumulus only need the 0xFF twice (or 16 "1" bit) to understand it will receive new data?
Cumulus needs all data (rain, temp, wind, etc) to start displaying, or it can display just one sensor (ie rain)?
Cumulus calculate the checksum or can i ignore this field?

Well, it's all binary, it's just that humans tend to be able to read hex more easily than binary, so binary values are normally written in hex.
Cumulus only need the 0xFF twice (or 16 "1" bit) to understand it will receive new data?
Yes, it just looks for 2 consecutive FF bytes to denote the start of the packet.
Cumulus needs all data (rain, temp, wind, etc) to start displaying, or it can display just one sensor (ie rain)?
It will display any data that it receives.

Yes, Cumulus validates the checksum, so you need to calculate it.

Hi..
Just got my barometer (BMP085) and all graphs start displaying
About the Oregon protocol, i still didint get any data in Cumulus..i will try to get a Oregon Log to understand whats missing.
Thanks!
