WH3080 questions for site

Post by robynfali »

Sorry to bother everyone.

Still havent managed to get the new station up yet (weather sucks), i was wondering out of all the following webtags, which ones i can use on the site that can be drawn from this station

<#SunshineHours> Hours of sunshine so far today
<#YSunshineHours> Total hours of sunshine yesterday
<#CurrentSolarMax> Current theoretical maximum solar radiation
<#ET> Today's evapotranspiration. Note that Fine Offset stations with solar sensors do not supply an evapotranspiration value, and by a quirk of the way the tag gets its value, for those stations this tag gives the light level in Lux.
<#UV> Current UV index
<#SolarRad> Current solar radiation

or given you're in the UK you could just hard code "zero" for all of them... ;) :D

Well apart from currently, we do get a hell of a lot of sunshine a lot of the time, and with views like this I can put up with a bit of rain :lol:

Very nice!! Anyway I can't talk, I don't think I would have registered above zero for the last week either. :(

Ok, looks like the weather is starting to change a little, so i want to get the station up, and the code done for the website, this is what i have so far with the code, not being a brilliant coder, I need some help finishing it off

<tr class="td_temperature_data">
<td>Sunshine Hours</td>
<td><#SunshineHours>&nbsp;hours</td>
<td>Current Maximum Solar Radiation</td>
<td><#CurrentSolarMax>&nbsp;<#???????></td>
</tr>
<tr class="td_temperature_data">
<td>Lux Level</td>
<td<#ET>nbsp;????????;</td>
<td>Current UV Level</td>
<td><#UV>&nbsp;<#??????></td>
</tr>

The units for the theoretical max radiation are W/m²
<td>Lux Level</td>
<td<#ET>nbsp;????????;</td>
Lux units are... Lux. You might want to change it to say something like "Light level" rather than "Lux level".
<td><#UV>&nbsp;<#??????></td>
The UV figure has no units, it's just an index from 0 to 12.

I am getting a UV of 12 (very high) and a light level of 299klux

These sound a bit wrong considering its quite overcast here

On the console, i cant find where to read it in cumulus, the lux level (after reading through here) seems ok, just the UV one seems wrong

Tick 'display solar/extra data' in the display settings.

Unless the lux level isn't reading 299k now, it's definitely wrong; that's the maximum value.
