I have a Ambient WS-1090 and can not change the Long and Lat. I have tried about all I could think of. I tried changing the Set up files. I even downloaded a new copy (1.9 Both) and put it on another drive .It still says Iam about 100 miles from where I am . It only matters on CWOP as Weather Underground has you set the location on a Map. I am a Ham Radio Op and Will send Packets through Radio soon but untill then My information is useless with my location being wrong.

Do you mean the location settings in Cumulus? Can you tell me what your actual co-ordinates are, and show me a screen shot of what you've put into the station settings screen in Cumulus? And copy and paste here the Latitude and Longitude lines from cumulus.ini.

Location always reverts to (on setup screen)
Lat 34 36 5 N
Long 95 15 22 5 W
In the ini file I tried changing it did not work so deleted LOng and lat
Station]

Location 33.9605544,-94.75226593 is
33° 57' 38" N
94° 45' 8" W
and if I enter those co-ordinates into Cumulus:
Station settings_2011-05-24_22-06-17.png
it works fine, and I get this in cumulus.ini:
Latitude=33.9605555555556
Longitude=-94.7522222222222
So I can only think that you're not entering the co-ordinates correctly somehow.

I shut it down ,changed the long and Lat again ,shut it down and restarted and all works . I got the same as you and the ini file as well.It is rounded off a little but puts me about 500 feet from my station.
Thanks Ron
