change order of presentation Instrument view on GaugesT.htm

Post by Flying John »

Another newbie question I'm afraid ....

I would like to alter the order that the Gauges are presented in on the template file GaugesT.htm. I want to swap cloudbase and heatindex over and bring the barometer to the top of the screen.

I have tried playing with the html in the frame but have only succeeded in altering the titles. How do you actually shift the graphic - or is this contained in a JS file we cannot edit ?.

If you look near the beginning of the gaugesT.hrm file, you'll see the javascript file referenced:

<script language="JavaScript" src="wz_jsgraphics.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

You can edit the javascript file if you wish (it's one of the files you had to upload when you set up your web site). But to do what you want to do in this instance you just need to change the HTML. The javascript looks for the 'div' names, e.g.

<td align="center" ><div id="barometer">analog</div></td>

So you just need to rearrange the divs to put the gauges where you want them.
