USB HID problems

Post by profzarkov »

Hi
I've been reading some of the threads here concerning USB HID problems and realise my problems are not caused by Cumulus - prob just my PC.
Basically it seems to lose all its USB HID facilities and I have to switch off the PC and plug a usb hub device in and then a mouse and then the W-8681 station into that and all's well.
It's only intermittent and usually only when my wife works from home and uses this laptop and requires a mouse. Has anyone else had this and knows a solution.
Cheers
Steve

I'd start out by completely removing and then re-installing all/any 3rd-party HID drivers.
Cheers,
Graeme.

Sounds good....just remove all USB drivers and reboot to let Windows find them again.
