Hello everyone
On checking John Dann's (prodata) web site I came across the cumulus software. I have owned Weather Monitor 2 and more recently VP2 wireless with solar radiation sensor for the past 13 years. Would like to find out more about the software - only just downloaded this morning. I have 3 questions.

1. I use John Dann's program to create monthly summaries and calaculate hours of bright sunshine from the VP2 readings. DOes this software calaculate hours of brights sun?

2. I would like to run the software, but have the option to switch off. DOes the software activate and download missing data easily?

3. I have a web page set up through my ISP Virgin. Can I overide this web site. I would like more information on setting up a configurable web site

Thanks
Rob

It attempts to, yes. There are some parameters that need experimenting with; I think I've got mine working reasonably well now.

It loads the 'missing' data from the logger when it starts up. Note that there appears to be a bug in the Davis DLL which Cumulus uses which means that the latest logger is not downloaded.

As long as it allows ftp access. The Cumulus help has information on creating a web site, see also here in the wiki: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Website_setup

There's lots of other useful information in the Cumulus help and wiki.
