I use them for all my domain registration, and have done for years. I have had no issues.

I have not used them for hosting, but know a few people who do with mixed reviews -- mostly that if you use their email it can be slow to deliver

Personal preference but I'd avoid the partner company WebFusion. I've had to help move 2 websites from them recently as they changed the functionality and broke required features. One meant that PHP mail no longer worked and cost a guy about £250 for the week it was offline. There support blamed the world and his wife on the first 5 calls and eventually a techie stated oh yeah we changed the functionality..

FWIW: I have been using 123 and Webfusion since 2004. Someone once managed to hack my account and put some junk in my homepage, don't know how. But sorted that and not had any other problems, though I only use it in a basic way, don't use PHP for example. Perl works OK for me in the odd place I tried it. thought about using PHP so I can get some fancy graphing as per other users. One day.

Stuart,
Please note that our Student offer is a Windows based hosting package.
If you are using PHP or MySQL, you would require a Linux hosting package.
If you are using ASP, ASP.NET or MSSQL you would require a Windows hosting package.
If you need additional help please reply and I would be glad to guide you further.
