I've used the Zyxel modemrouter for a few years. It has not been any problem for Cumulus to work with Zyxel. Now I have changed to the Thomson TG789 UN modemrouter and now I get Error in the box for the Status after a few minutes. Cumulus still uploaded to my site, but eventually gets it all wrong anyway. I've tried "portforwarding" for the ftp and even closed down the firewall. It still flashes red in error. I can still perform a manual web update and it updates automatically too, even if the Status flashes red. I use Cumulus 1.9.1 and also tried in v 1.8.x. Any idea what cause this error?

It's hard to say what is the cause of the error, without knowing what the error is, and you don't seem to have said. I can't work out whether you're saying that the uploads work OK but the error light flashes, or whether the uploads don't work ("eventually gets it wrong anyway").
The best thing to do for any ftp errors is to turn on ftp logging and look at the ftp log.

Re: New modemrouter = Error in Status
I dont know what causes the error. It seems that the Web Update works both manually and auto, but at the end it seems that cumulus/ftp get it all wrong. When i restart Cumulus and perform the web update it works fine again except for the error-flash that occur after a few minutes again.
Now I have restart Cumulus and started the ftp logging - in which folder will the log file appear?
There is a folder in Cumulus called Diags and there are some files in it. What are they telling me?

Edit - found the ftp-log. Do you want a copy when Cumulus start to show error-flash?
