Unable to run Cumulus Toolbox

I used Cumulus Toolbox for a time on my PC (with Windows XP SP3) without problems.
Now, from a few days, to run my weather station 24h a day, I use a "Thin Client" Wyse 9450XL With Windows XPe (embedded).
I installed Toolbox but when I try to run it the following Errror message appears:
Cumulus Toolbox.exe-.NET Framework Initialization Error
Please set registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETFramework\InstallRoot to point to the .NET Framework install location

However I am unable to find such a key in the registry and the registry itself seems to be structured in a different way compared to the registry I have on the other PC with XP SP3.
The .NET Framework version installed is: 2.0.50727
What can I do ?

Ciao Aldo :)

Thank you Rob, I simply re-installed NET Framework 2 and now it works !!
Then I discovered that the entire set of keys HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETFramework was missing before, but now is there, where it should be !

Ciao Aldo :)
