Build 984 - Changing rainfall

I am using build 984, however I have had some trouble with my rain gauge on the Oregon WMR918, so I need to manually input any rainfall to keep Cumulus up to date.
In previous versions I could just change the figure in the dayfile.txt to the correct value, however it seems that with this build my dayfile has not bee updated for a couple of months.
Also when I do get the bucket to send data, it looks like it appears on Cumulus for a day or two and then reverts back to the previous total (121 mm).
Here is my dayfile.txt

I have ordered a new rain gauge so hopefully soon it should all be updated automatically again, I just would like to keep the total rainfall figure correct.
Thanks
Matt

Matt,
The dayfile is a bit of a mystery. I am using build 989 and have not experienced any such oddity. Looked at your website in general and noticed the dates on your summary graphs are mm/dd/yyyy which seems a bit odd as the dates in your dayfile are dd/mm/yy. Hope you can sort it out.

Build 984 is an old beta and no longer supported, you need to change to the 'release' build. I don't think this will fix your problem though.
You're running Cumulus 24 hours a day, yes? If so, please zip up your diags folder and attach it, and I should be able to see what's going on.

Thanks guys, I have now installed version 1.9.1 build 989 - I think this is the latest release, that might help.
I have also zipped up my data files and put them here

Please zip up the diags folder and attach it.
Actually, there's probably no need for diags files - it looks like your temperature sensor isn't transmitting, and hasn't been for quite some time. Cumulus now checks the start of day high and low temperature figures at the end of the day, and if they haven't changed, it assumes something has gone wrong and doesn't write the dayfile.txt entry.

Ah yes, that is correct.
The outside temperature sensor has stopped working, I have now ordered a THGR122NX sensor which I have been told can be used as an outdoor sensor.
I believe there is a configuration change that I need to make in one of the .ini files for this to be displayed in the software as an outside sensor, is that correct ?
Hopefully the new rain and temperature sensor will both be here this week.

Thanks to everyone that assisted me, I now have a new rain collector and a new outdoor sensor (THGR122NX) that seem to be working well.
I appreciate the prompt and useful info that you guys were able to provide.
Regards
Matt
