Glad to help, that one had me stumped for ages too as his doco is wrong.

I really like the idea of using a Dolphin torch as a housing, that's brilliant!!

Yeah, cheap and cheerful, I am leaning toward the security light tho, on my webcam you can see a field opposite, well they are building 5 new houses direct opposite, so i need something that looks unobtrusive, so I think the security lamp, painted the same colour as the eave may well be the route. I also don't have to bother with the USB extender as there is very little distance between the cam and the computer (about 2m)
