Update Wunderground

Hi guys,

Cumulus has been shut down here and there creating 'holes' in Wundeground data. We are using cumulus 1.9.0 and I am aware 1.9.1 can update WU.

My question is will it update WU from day one filling up all the holes ?

My brother does not want to use 1.9.1 because the display is not as nice (?) but I think I can just close 1.9.0 and then open 1.9.1 and update WU. Is that correct? Do I have to do anything special to update WU from day one ? Anything special to install 1.9.1 so it reads data from 1.9.0

Thanks for the replies,

Yvan

Did you know you can configure almost everything in 1.9.1

1.91 has been very stable of late as well. I do not think you will miss 1.90 at all. The WU updates is a great addition to 1.91. The other additions to enhance Cumulus 1.91 are just too numerous to list.

It will start uploading logger data to WU as soon as you first run it. It won't go back and fill in any gaps you already have.

I'm never going to be able to please everyone, I understand that.

Just back up your data and install 1.9.1 over the top of 1.9.0. I'm going to replace 1.9.0 with 1.9.1 as the 'release' version very soon.
