Spares for W1080

Post by gingerneil »

I've just managed to smash 2 cups from my windymeter. I'm I likely to get totally inaccurate readings now? If so, any ideas if I can buy spares, or do I need a whole new unit the next time they appear on sale in maplin?

It won't work properly with only one cup. I think you're unlikely to be able to buy just new cups, but you can get a new windymeter here, for £9.99: http://www.wsplc.com/acatalog/Weather_S ... ories.html

They're pretty good prices. :)

Sorry, no banner - weather station out of action. Hoping to be up and running with a new home-made one soon.

yep - very happy with the price and the quick service. How often do you find spares cost more than the thing they are spares for ?! I was very suprised that I didnt need to buy a whole new setup.
