"Falling rapidly" isn't one of the Cumulus strings, so I suspect it's coming from the station. There's a very short period where the string gets the Davis value written to it before the Cumulus one overwrites it, but I didn't think it was possible for the web update code to get in to get the station value.
Did it just go to "falling rapidly" briefly before correcting itself, on the next update, say?

I can't see any ftp problems, seems to be working OK. You're bound to get the occasional error.
But going back to the original problem, there is a small 'window' when the Davis trend string can get put in <#presstrend> instead of the Cumulus one. I've fixed this in the next build.
