Cumulus Support

Hi, great app and good thread. Something that wasnt clear to me which should be made so lies in the fact that if you are uploading cumulus.xml and/or realtime.xml to the server via cumulus, you should not check Realtime? to begin with. I did this and it uploaded the necessary files then I checked it and it's all running fine now.

This might be helpful fr others as I have spent most of today sherlock holmesing it (deduction).

Got it working with the instructions that are on your website.
i do however like the older one with the icons but this looks very tidy as well !

I'm not sure where the thread on the forum is, but I have this app on my tablet (running 4.3) and it works OK: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... herstation

The adverts are a bit annoying, particularly the ones that make themselves look like 'new mail' notifications to try to trick you into clicking on them (not that I did)

Mrs L is currently doing an online course on Android programming so she can help me write an app for Cumulus. The course is turning out to be pretty poor, unfortunately.

This is the one I have, also running on 4.3 ( Samsung S4) I dont have any adverts though ?

I works for a while then I get an annoying " the weather station has stopped"

I normally have the widget running on my home screen with regular self updates, I am wondering if I am asking for two many updates and it cant cope.

I am surprised that there isnt more app out there - looking forward to Mrs L,s version 1.0

Please note Pocket PWS version 2.0 or 1.1 is not available via google play market - making installation difficult for non expert users/

First version which is still on google play doesnt work on my Samsung S4 running andoid 4.3

managed to unblock phone, download and install - but it doesnt work

do you need a different xml file to the standard realtime one ?
