Hi Steve,
I am afraid I have a bug report for the latest Beta. Cumulus seemed to close suddenly without me noticing so I have attached the following bug report.
Issue seemed to be present in previous beta but I suspected it could be my PC.
Hopefully bug report will help find that out.

I tried to restart Cumulus but immediately got the following bug report...

It's crashing in the Windows system code somewhere (ntdll.dll); I can't even work out what Cumulus was doing at the time as there's no Cumulus code directly involved. It looks like you had the same crash a few days ago with build 985 (on the 25th). All I can suggest is that you reboot your PC and try again.

That is correct, I wonder if I would be better reverting the computer back to Win XP from Win Vista. I also previously got an exception mad handler issue when running the Beta with WebcamXP.

If you zip up the diags folder I'll have a look to see if there's anything useful there.

You have a problem in dayfile.txt:
28/03/2011 22:07:39.325 : Error plotting charts from dayfile.txt around line 618: '4.4.0' is not a valid floating point value
But that's almost certainly unrelated to the crash.
It was having trouble saving the graph images prior to the crash:
29/03/2011 16:04:05.608 : Error creating graph files: Access violation at address 00405613 in module 'cumulus.exe'. Write of address 00000000
29/03/2011 16:06:04.489 : Error creating graph files: The parameter is incorrect.
I suspect those are more symptoms of whatever caused the crash. But I don't know what caused the crash.

Jason.....did you update from XP to Vista or did you do a clean install of Vista?
In all the time that Vista was available I avoided selling any computers to customers with Vista installed. XP was still available and much more robust.

It was a clean install of Vista. I am going to reinstall XP on this machine at some point but I need to try and find a blank Floppy Disk somewhere as XP requires the SATA/RAID Drivers before installation

I think there is a way around the SATA/RAID driver issue in the BIOS settings somewhere. It has been a while, but I recall changing a setting and getting the XP CD to boot and install OK.
