Latest Beta - Build 985

Hi Steve,

I've just downloaded and installed the latest beta build of Cumulus V1.9.1.

Thank you for including the new feature of alerting La-Crosse user's of 'Clock Errors' in the data logger. It helped me notice that the last few days of data in the logger were 'apparently' in 2015  :bash:

I wonder if a possible enhancement for the future would be to ignore the La-Crosse Clock and when provided with the logger interval in Cumulus, work out logger entries in the same way that is used for Watson/myDel such stations?

I am not aware of any way to turn off the Atomic Clock Sync feature which causes this issue.

Other than that, I am extremely pleased with my La-Crosse :)

Yes, I think that would be possible.

That'll be great if it could be, I realize there are a few possible issues but I think it would solve quite a few too. Would be happy to participate in any testing if required?

Thanks again Steve :)

Hi Steve,

Just wondered if there was any updates on this at all, I only ask as I was away over the weekend (And during the Clock Change) and when I returned I found that the La-Crosse Console Clock was 1hr behind (Despite using the DCF) and so it I shutdown Cumulus so I could adjust the clock. I had to do this as it seems the clock was causing some confusion which meant that I had no Data for Monday and only data after the clock had been changed :(

I have not been using the data logger option since this time issue from La-Crosse was appearing :(

I hope that makes sense but I feel it doesnt :?

No, sorry, not really. What updates were you expecting? I don't understand whether you're reporting a new issue or not?

I don't know - I didn't really think about my post before writing it. Sorry Steve

On reflection,

I think I was asking if there was any further thoughts on if it would be possible to use the logger in the La-Crosse in the same way that it is for Watson/Such like stations and if/when would it be likely to been introduced.

Sorry for not being clear to start with Steve.

I would have thought so, but I haven't looked at the Cumulus code and what passes for a 'protocol' to confirm.
and if/when would it be likely to been introduced.
Not in 1.9.1; I've been trying to get this version 'released' for a while now and I don't want to add any more features now.
