Rogue temperature reading

Post by NOTTNICK »

I am wondering how to delete a rogue reading I got this afternoon (-23 centigrade).
I guess it is similar to the rainfall procedure, but would like to check first.
Advice appreciated.
Thanks

It's easier to correct one-off temperature readings because there's no relative calculations to be done and the effect isn't cumulative. But other than that, yes, it's pretty much the same; you'll need to edit all of the data files that contain the rogue reading.

You might want to consider using the EWtempdiff setting in cumulus.ini to prevent (maybe!) it happening again - see the cumulus.ini page in the wiki.
