station configuration problem

Hi all, i'm using version 1.9.1 under windows 7.

When i insert my longitude and latitude and close the configuration screen cumulus changes my location.

when i'm looking on the aprs maps my home location is totally wrong.

can someone help me out please.

What - exactly - are you entering for your co-ordinates? A screen shot would be useful. You say Cumulus changes it - to what?

Thx for replying.

these are the correct values i entered 50 74 57 N 03 40 31 and cumulus changes it to 51 14 57 N every time i close the config window.

i entered 50 74 57 N
You can't have minutes greater than 59. Cumulus has done its best and converted 60 of the minutes into one degree.

Is it possible that you are trying to enter degree's in decimal value as minutes? Google maps has Bossiut Belgium as 50.750712 N and 3.413916 W which is degree's. Looks very close to what you had. This would convert to 50 degrees 44 minutes and 44 seconds N and 3 degrees 24 min and 11 seconds.
Probably makes very little difference in the end, but it may now solve the puzzle.
