Cumulus Support

Hi,

I had to take my weather station down to put it onto
a thicker pole. But I now have 2.1mm of rain recorded
in Cumulus which obviously happened when I was taking
down and putting back the weather station.

Before I took it down I took the batteries out of the
transmitter and the base unit, but it still registered
rain fall =(

Does anyone know which files I need to edit to get rid
of this false reading?

Iv'e tried looking in the dayfile.txt, but that shows the latest
information from yesterday 11.03.2011 and not today 12.03.2011
so I can't edit the rainfall to 0.0

I also looked at the CumulusWiki, but it only shows how to edit
"monthly and/or annual rainfall totals" if they are wrong, not the
current day.

Any help would be appreciated.

The dayfile is only updated at the end of a day to summaries the days conditions

Today's data is in today.ini and also the monthly log file, so edit today.ini using the article above. Edit the monthly log file Zeroing rain counts so that your graphs are fixed too

i think we all have done this one time or another.

Thanks for all the pointers, I will have a look tomorrow
to see if I can fix the false rain reading.
