OK, Manuel, you ahave a few option (one of those options mentioned below)...
If you want users to go directly to your 'AJAX/PHP Multilingual Templates' main page when they click on the link "
http://www.meteoelvas.com/" (without specifying any file/template name) then you have to rename the original file/template from 'wxindex.php' to 'index.php'.
But, as you pointed out, Cumulus uploads its main page as 'index.htm' which is the first file read when someone does not specify a file/template name when connecting to a site...
The easiest solution is to prevent Cumulus from automatically uploading its standard HTM files - by removing the check mark in front of the 'Include Standard Files' ('Configuration' pulldown menu -> 'Internet' option -> 'Files' tab) and setting up Cumulus to upload the files while renaming them in the process. That is accomplish on the 'Files' tab ('Configuration' pulldown menu -> 'Internet' option -> 'Files' tab) by entering the path and file name of the template on your computer and the (path) file name of the file needed on your host server - all six (6) file names will need to be entered (ie: gauges, index, record, today, trends, and yesterday).
Here is what you need to do (I will use the 'indexT' -> 'index' file/template as an example):
- - in one of the boxes under the 'Local filenames' heading, click on the 'Browse...' button and look for the template 'indexT.htm';
- moving right on the same line, under the 'Binary?' heading, leave the box without a check mark;
- still moving right on the same line, under the 'Remote filenames' heading, enter the name of the file as it should be used (required) on the host server;
- this is where Cumulus can be setup to use a different name ... for example, you could enter 'cumulus.htm';
- still moving right on the same line, under the 'Process?' heading, place a check mark in the box;
- still moving right on the same line, under the 'Realtime?' heading, leave the box without a check mark;
- still moving right on the same line, under the 'FTP?' heading, place a check mark in the box.
You will have to repeat the same setup procedures for the other five (5) templates (ie: 'gaugesT.htm', 'recordT.htm', 'todayT.htm', 'trendsT.htm', and 'yesterdayT.htm') while keeping the original names produced by Cumulus (ie: 'gauges.htm', 'record.htm', 'today.htm', 'trends.htm', and 'yesterday.htm').
Before the files can be used on your host server, all six (6) templates (ie: 'gaugesT.htm', 'indexT.htm', 'recordT.htm', 'todayT.htm', 'trendsT.htm', and 'yesterdayT.htm') will have to be edited - in the navigation line (near the bottom of each templates), the file name 'index.htm' will have to be replaced with whatever file name you have decided to use - in the above example/lines, I used the name 'cumulus.htm'.
If you use the above procedures, once you have the right files (with the right names) have been uploading to your host server, you will need to delete the annoying and unused 'index.htm' from your host server.
If everything goes right, the file name for the main pages should be (for example) 'cumulus.htm' for the Cumulus HTML files and 'index.php' (renamed from 'wxindex.php' to 'index.php') for the 'AJAX/PHP Multilingual Templates' PHP files.
