Win7 Pro 64bit, UAC set as below.
Just installed it, sidebar was already running in 32bit having no problems. :D

it is okay once you set it but if you then go back in to it to change something then the settings you had befire are not saved

OK, I'm going to investigate further - I'll create a clean install of Win 7 as I cannot reproduce the problem on either of my machines. Weird, over 500,000 downloads of previous gadgets using the same code and no one has reported this problem before!

Even odder - I created a brand new install of Windows 7 Home Premium. Created a new non-privileged user. downloaded the zip from my website and installed the gadget, changed some settings on all the tabs, saved them, opened settings again, still there, closed gadget, reopened gadget, settings still stuck - a bit like me now!

I cannot reproduce this problem on three computers now, all running different flavours of Windows 7.

Very strange. More "hair-pulling" required :-)
I'll have more of a play later.....only have the 1 W7 machine though.
As you probably saw, mine is W7 Ultimate 32 bit.

Update:-
If I set the date and then come back in to set the shadow density, the date has reverted to 2008. Set the date and the Shadow density is none.
Strange thing is that it keeps the location correctly.

I hope this helps.
