An interesting calculation -- enter a password and it tells you how long it would take to crack it

My 'normal' one for forums, etc was 4 days -- for my banking 417 years!

It would take
About 3 minutes
for a desktop PC to crack your password

oh, just a thought with this as well,
presumably the website logs your ip, is it at all possible to use these entries for all the wrong reason by the site owner?
I know i have just changed my two passwords, still take over 700 million years to crack them tho lol

I doubt the password is much use on its own.
It's no use without a username, or the site it is associated with

You can always save the webpage view it locally after examining it for risks.

yeah my thoughts too, just thought i would bring it up, my two banks (as I imagine most are these days) require
username
password
pin/memorable word
