WH1080 - something odd in my settings?

Post by Bedgroveboy »

You will note I am fairly new to world of weather stations and please accept my apologies if this query has been posted before (I have looked but not found).

I have a WH1080 permenantly linked by USB to the computer and the computer is switched off at night. Everyyhing works great, even have the website up and running, except I have noticed the following:

During the period when the computer is switched on I notice the detail of data in the graphs uploaded to the website shows wind gusts but when not switched on the station does not record this data? Any ideas why this should be.

Also note that when the computer is on the data recorded for the graphs is much more frequent than the station is collecting the data without the computer on. I can tell by just looking at the graphs when my computer has been on or off.

I am thinking this is a settings issue somewhere but not sure where.

Any ideas anyone?

Probably this: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/FAQ#The_.E ... m_my_graph

This is another frequently asked question, but I haven't got around to writing a FAQ for it. It's because when running live Cumulus logs at 1-minute intervals. When it starts up it pre-populates the graph from the data in the log files, which will be at yourconfigured Cumulus logger interval and/or the station logger interval, depending on how the data got into the logs.
