pressure glitch after upgrade

The other day I upgraded to the latest beta (About 7am on the 4th). The next day I noticed that the pressure graph had dropped from the relative pressure to absolute about the same time. I didn't reboot the machine at the time, but Microsoft security essentials was performing a download and upgrade, so I just let it go. After a 2am scheduled reboot (2am on the 5th) cumulus started logging the relative pressure again.

I rolled back to before this glitch to correct the pressure error with success. I haven't had this issue with upgrading to a later beta in the past.

Steve, as I backed up the cumulus folder before the rollback, are there any files that you can use to see where the glitch occurred?
I guess maybe it has something to do with cumulus reading the relative pressure offset from the console.

Thanks

The initial absolute and relative pressures are logged to the diags file at start up, but...

... if you're not using the EWpressureoffset 'over-ride' as described in the FAQ for this issue, then that is almost certainly the case.

Yes, the diags indicated that the wrong value was read at startup and have now implemented
the EWpressureoffset 'over-ride'. Offset should have been 8.2.

Code: Select all

4/03/2011 07:00:19.843 : Request EW data block, addr = 000000
4/03/2011 07:00:19.859 : EWUSB: EW startup data line 01 55 AA FF FF FF FF FF FF
4/03/2011 07:00:19.875 : EWUSB: EW startup data line 02 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 61

4/03/2011 07:00:19.890 : Request EW data block, addr = 000020
4/03/2011 07:00:19.906 : EWUSB: EW startup data line 05 1E 27 4C 27 FF FF FF FF
4/03/2011 07:00:19.906 : EWUSB: Read pressure values: rel=1001.4 abs=1006.0 offset =-4.6
Thanks
