Displaying tabluar data on website

Just wondered if there is a script / code out there that
will display similar information / format (with the highlighted values),
as shown on the following website:

( I think this is generated using WD software, but wondered is
there is somethin similar to this that can be used for Cumulus)

http://www.weathercat.net/wxtempdetail.php

I have managed to cobble together a page using TNET's
"PHP (No Database) Dayfile.txt Parser",
reference: http://cumulus.tnetweather.com/projects/phpdayfile
with my limited knowlegde of PHP and not so limited HTML skills ;)

here:

http://www.mrdphotography.co.uk/weather ... erdata.htm

But what I have got is limited and does not display as fully as the above mentioned
site.

Yours looks very good to me, and I think the only difference (apart from the range of data displayed on each screen) between that and the other one you've linked to is the colour coding for the temperature ranges. I don't particularly like that myself; I find it confusing. But I'm sure it must be a fairly easy step from what you've done (says me without really having a clue ).

I know a few others have also done similar things, some using MySQL and some not, so I'm sure some proper advice will be along shortly.

It looks like the script in your first link was actually written by Kevin, or derived from something originally written by Kevin. It seems to use the NOAA monthly reports that WD produces. I do plan to have Cumulus generate NOAA reports at some point, but it seems to me that most of the data is already in dayfile.txt, so it should be possible to modify the script to use the output from Kevin's parser instead of a NOAA report.

I also use NOAAtemplates for historical data http://www.apeldoorn.tk/weer/wxhistorie.php , I use the month.txt files which are parsed local on my computer (rather complicated) I update only once a day thats why I'm looking forward for NOAA reports by Cumulus ;)

Thanks Steve,

If I get some free time over the weekend I may
look into the script and see if I can modify it
to work with the dayfile.txt

Have you had a look at the original scripts/templates used to produce the resulting page you like - the 'Detail and Summary Files For Temperature, Rain, Wind, Snowfall, Snow Depth, Barometric Pressure, Degree Days, Sunshine Hours, Solar Energy, UV, Dew Point, Wet Bulb' package can be downloaded from the Wildwood Naturist's Resort site... ;)

You might be able to adapt them to the data produced by Cumulus... :)

Thanks Gemini06720,

I will have a look and see if I can get it to work. :)
