help with setting up my wh1081

Hello all i am new here and a novice at the weather game but am finding it addictive !! i had a ventus which only lasted 6 months so went out and got a wh1081 with touch screen which is ok but i didnt like the software hence culumus was installed but i am struggling setting up the wind speed to match the head unit ?? any ideas ?? this is very useful for local lifeboat buisiness and for my interest i would be very grateful for any help and support from the forum kindest regards Alan ;)

thanks steve for the promt reply but like i said i am new to this what is the recomeded settings to give a true wind speed on culumus step by step sorry to be a bit of a thicko regards Alan

Bit longer than me mate, only 6 months in Trearddur Bay, guess you seen ours on the news last Thursday?

lol yeah, nice couple though, very pleasant to talk to, good bit of PR for the RNLI and the individual station

Hi Alan,

There is always much debate on what settings to use and of course the location of the anemometer, however, the settings I use I think will be a good starting point as I have found them quite accurate.

There is always much debate on what settings to use and of course the location of the anemometer, however, the settings I use I think will be a good starting point as I have found them quite accurate.
Thanks Neil i will give them a go !! the people on here are so helpful and swift with replys ist great !! :clap: :clap: :clap:is culumus 2 steady stable yet?

superb mate seems to be working well will monitor it over the next few days thanks again Alan

well its that time of year again the batteries have been changed and now i cant get cumulus to even see my station oh can one of you gurus help me !! altho the error light stops flashing and i get the conbnected sighn from the pc it will just not restart please help me and happy new year to all Scoggy :clap:
