Victoria, British Columbia. At least that's the myth.

This year, however, we're getting a La Nina zap from the ENSO and it looks like Canada's lotus land may break a few low temperature records over the next few days.

So, there I was doing a route weather forecast for some of our ships out there and, (to my horror) I pull a jet stream chart that shows the polar jet is set farther to the west than usual and the subtropical jet down Mexico way.

Not good. Not good at all. Then I took a look at my NE facing webcam.
