Inserting a data table into a forum

Post by Paul C »

Sorry for the random question ?

I am currently carrying a survey into bright sunshine levels and wanted to create and update a basic data table on the forum, as if you would create a table in word etc with various columns, so it looks neat across the page. At the moment I have been using the snip tool and uploading a jpg image.

So can you insert and update a "table" in phpbb forums
tks

There doesn't seem to be any way. The best way I've found when I've wanted to do it was to use the 'Code' tags (so you get a monospaced font) and line it all up manually.

BBSs are always a problem with lining up tabular data. You can't use spaces to space things out as more than one is converted to just one space. I use dots or dashes. But for real neatness an image seems the only way to go.

Sorry, no banner - weather station out of action. Hoping to be up and running with a new home-made one soon.
