Just saw highlights of the Will & Kate's launching of the new lifeboat on breakfast television here in Western Australia.

She looks very seaworthy and the boat isn't bad either

Kate was very shy indeed, extremely pretty though, and Prince William was fantastic, spoke to each of us individually, rather than just a group thing, was a brilliant day overall, and I didn't manage to escape the tv cameras either sadly!

No, those were the guys picked to demonstrate the boat, i am in this one, 2nd from left, just before Kate and the Prince spoke to me

It wasn't intended, i did try to avoid them, i hadn't counted on the one following Kate & William being there, or live feed either!

Great stuff!! What did he say to you?

He was asking how long i had been with the RNLI etc, said that i had been winched into the helicopter recently, and we laughed about what a shaky bucket of bolts they are!!

Excellent, there's a story to tell the grandkids - the day you met the future King and Queen!

Yeah, was a good day for everyone there, raise the profile of the RNLI, certainly good for local business as well! was told that all of the local hotels were fully booked!
