Sorry, I don't understand.

The problem is when cumulus reads data, so how can I change something?

One thing that I don't think I've made clear, though you may have worked it out, is that the easyweather.dat file uses the following units: Wind m/s, Temp C, Rain mm, Pressure mb/hPa.

Just a suggestion!

I see you are not comfortable with EasyWeather and would like to remove the code.

Why don't add the possibility to simply load the last line from a text file formatted just like your <Month><Year>log.txt Datalog files?

In this way everyone who has a station with an output to a text file will be able to use Cumulus. Formatting a text file could be done with a few lines of code or with a database or in a million of different ways.

You're missing the point. The code which uses a text file for input (i.e. the easyweather.dat code) is very old and basic and I haven't taken it into account at all when doing all the other changes to Cumulus, so lots of things probably don't work properly with it. It doesn't matter what the format of the input file is.

It's a pity!

There are a lot of stupid station all over (like mine  ) who comes with stupid unusefull software, but of course, I can understand your point of view.

Eventually, I'll do a proper 'file input' facility.
